FAQs
Do I have to pay for samples? We will send up to four different colours free of charge.
Can you send orders abroad? Yes of course, but if you want samples you will have to purchase our sample pack for £4.99. Our shipping calculator will work out the cost of getting the flooring to you.
How do I calculate how much flooring I will need? We sell our flooring by the square metre. You will find a flooring calculator in the checkout section of our website which can work out how many you need. All you need to do is put in the dimensions of your room and it will calculate the area for you. We recommend that you add 16cm on to both width and length when measuring up your floor area to allow for wastage and cutting. If you have an irregular shaped floor or want to keep wastage to an absolute minimum, we recommend that you calculate the area yourself. And if that proves too tricky, we have a special service where we will do the maths for you. Please contact us or call us on 020 7254 3526.
Why does your flooring calculator say I need to buy more square metres then the length multiplied by the width of my floor? We sell our flooring in vinyl sheets that are either 1.83m wide, or 2m wide. The amount required has to be a multiple of the width of the roll. If you are in doubt please don’t hesitate to give us a call.

When washing try not to use excessive amounts of water. To avoid staining, wipe off spillages as quickly as possible. There are a number of ways to remove more stubborn marks: try using an eraser, or neat washing up liquid, Alternatively use a mixture of water and bicarbonate of soda or white spirit, but rinse off with water afterwards.

If you are installing in a large area, we recommend getting a professional to do it for you.
What steps should I take to protect my flooring from physical damage? The most common form of physical damage is indentation marking from pressure points such as high heels and legs/castors from furniture and appliances. We recommend the use of castor cups wherever possible. In the kitchen avoid damage from appliances by placing a sheet of hardboard between the appliance and the floor. When moving the appliance simply slide from one hardboard sheet to another. Take care with dragging heavy domestic appliances or furniture across the floor as, without protection, it could also damage the floor. Take care with cigarettes, kitchen utensils, hot or heavy objects which if dropped can damage the floor covering.
How can I protect my floor from staining?
Always use a door mat near external doors. Take care to wipe up any spillages, spots or marks as quickly as possible to minimize the risk of staining. Do not use latex or rubber backed mats, rubber furniture feet or rubber wheeled castors. We suggest a non-staining vinyl-backed mat or colourfast rug.
How can I protect my floor from fading? All vinyl floors are affected by direct sunlight and are prone to colour fading. Keep blinds closed and direct sunlight off the vinyl floor on sunny days when possible.
Do you do wholesale? Yes. We work closely with architects, interior designers, stylists and retailers. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch and we will be happy to discuss your flooring needs.
How thick is your flooring? Our 1.83m wide rolls are 2mm thick. The wear layer is 0.35mm thick. Our 2m wide rolls are 2.4mm thick. The wear layer is 0.55mm thick.
Do I need special adhesive to lay it? We recommend double-sided vinyl flooring tape or Balls F44 for full adhesion. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee the suitability of other adhesives.
Why does my new floor have a slight indentation line on each layer of the roll? When vinyl flooring is stored in a roll, the outer edge can sometimes leave a slight impression on the layers beneath it. This is normal and a sign of quality flooring with a high vinyl content. Once your floor has acclimatised and been laid, it will relax, and the marks will disappear in a week or two.
