Once an order is received, the flooring will be cut ready for our couriers to pick up. We will email you when your order is in the hands of our couriers, from which time most UK mainland customers should receive their order within timeframe selected. If we foresee any major delay in a delivery we will let you know as soon as we can.
Please note, though, that all delivery dates are estimates only and can’t be guaranteed; we can’t accept any liability for any direct or indirect loss or damage resulting from delivery outside of these estimated timescales.
You can call our couriers Speedy on 020 8813 4111 directly to make any special delivery arrangements or to enquire about the timescale of your delivery.
Delivery is to kerbside only. Please ensure there is assistance available at the delivery address to accept large orders. Flooring deliveries could be made on a truck or a van, so we will assume that the delivery address will be accessible. If there is likely to be a problem, e.g. the road is subject to restricted access, please inform us at the time of order.
All flooring orders are via a carrier service which will deliver weekdays between 8am and 6pm. You will need to sign for your delivery.
Transit damage can occasionally happen. If there is any sign of damage to your flooring when it arrives (contents rather than packaging) then it's best to refuse delivery and we will resend. You should inspect your flooring as soon as it arrives – which means checking (but not opening) flooring packs for visible damage. You, or the person acting for you, should note down any transit damage at that time on the delivery note. Please also take a photograph at the time of delivery.
If there’s no one available to sign for an arranged delivery our carrier will attempt a re-delivery or you may have to collect your order from the carrier’s nearest depot or else become liable for redelivery charges. You may choose at the time of ordering to have the delivery left with a friend, neighbour or another place specified by you, but The Colour Flooring Company can’t be responsible for any transit damage or for any subsequent loss or theft of the goods if you choose not to sign for your delivery.
While we do our best to deliver to the majority of the UK and most overseas countries, we reserve the right to refuse your order if our Carrier can’t deliver to your location or if our estimated cost of carriage is more than the delivery charge itemised on your order. Please allow up to 28 days from our receipt of your order and clearance of your payment to receive your goods.
CLICK & COLLECT
Click & Collect orders are generally ready same working day as you place your order. You will receive an email notification when your order is being prepared by the warehouse. Collection is available 2 hours after you receive the email. If you need to collect sooner, please contact us first to confirm availability.
Our warehouse address is Unit 3, Riverwalk Business Park, Riverwalk Road, EN3 7QN, open weekdays, 8.45am to 3.30pm only. (Payment by Google or Apple Pay will not offer pick up option.)
When picking up, please park in designated visitor space and enter the warehouse by the door indicated. Please note: orders not collected within 30 days will be treated as a return and incur a 30% restocking fee.
Samples are delivered via Royal Mail standard postal service. We offer three small samples free and up to six for £3.99 p&p. Or large samples of vinyl, rubber and Corka for £4.99 each (including p&p). For the full range, vinyl, rubber, Corka, parquet and plank sample packs are available for £4.99 each (including p&p).
Unfortunately we have had to suspend our international shipping due to current export complications. For overseas purchase please order as normal for delivery to a UK address and arrange your own shipping.
