Most cork planks have a fibreboard core. Uniquely, Corka is made from pure cork, so it's tougher, water-resistant and sustainable too. With its easy-fit click system, this is cork flooring for the 21st century: warm underfoot and coated with a tough protective lacquer. It's great for both busy family homes and commercial spaces alike. Needs no extra finishing on site More
Easy to fit - Click system for fast laying on any flat surface
Tough and water-resistant - Finished with a durable matt-laquered coating for easy cleaning. This gorgeous white is great for kitchens
Camada White is one of our most popular colours, perhaps because white cork tiles lend a sense of modernity to any space. The lightest coloured cork in our range, it comes finished with a pale wash designed to enhance rather than disguise the natural beauty of the cork itself. And because of its subtly varied block patterning, it’s a practical choice: it doesn’t show up dirt like some white floors can. Colour Flooring owner Lena put it down in her kitchen and even with three young boys and a dog running about the place, it still looks as good as new. Close
Climate positive - Corka actually removes more carbon from the atmosphere than is used in its manufacture
Warm and quiet - Cork’s natural honeycomb structure makes it extremely quiet and comfortable underfoot. Works well with underfloor heating too
Pure - Unlike other cork flooring, Corka contains no MDF or fibreboard filler
Corka takes cork flooring to a new level of technical excellence. It is the only water-resistant click-plank system on the market made with 100 per cent cork.
Manufactured in a state-of-the-art factory in Portugal, it comes in a range of finishes hand-picked to suit the needs of our design-savvy customers and has received multiple environmental awards including the prestigious Blue Angel certificate.
Corka is made using the bark of the cork oak, an evergreen which grows up to 20m high and lives for up to 200 years. The bark has a honeycomb cell structure and is a natural fire retardant with exceptional insulating properties. No trees are cut down during harvesting. The process requires great expertise (it is the highest paid job in Portuguese agriculture) and involves carving the bark off once every nine years. The first harvest takes place only 25 years after planting.
Our floating plank flooring fits on top of existing floors with minimum subfloor preparation. It comes pre-finished with a durable coating and is made with a universal locking system so clicks into place – with no need for glue in most settings.
All of our cork comes from a 700,000-hectare forested ecosystem in southern Portugal known as the Montado, whose trees are protected by law. These forests make a significant contribution to reducing global warming, capturing an estimated 5 percent of the country’s annual CO2 emissions, or 4.8 million tons per year. The sustainably managed cork forests support many endangered species including the Imperial eagle, wolves and the Iberian lynx, one of the most endangered cats in the world.
Commercial grade
Corka planks are made up of several layers including a natural cork veneer, a rigid cork core and an integrated cork underlay. They come with a ‘microbevel’, which gives a very subtle definition between boards and their commercial-grade finish is designed to showcase cork in all its beautiful, natural variation. This may include filled knots, small holes and natural irregularities of the bark. With our coloured Corka, the surface colour is intended as a subtle wash which will not mask the natural grain of the plank.

Our cork flooring is easy to lay and works well with underfloor heating; there’s no varnishing involved and the planks simply click together. It can be glued down or installed as a "floating floor" depending on the application. Many of our customers lay it themselves as a DIY project, but if you are looking for an experienced fitter, we can help – just email us your postcode.
With its tough protective surface treatment, our Corka is easy to clean and maintain: simply sweep or vacuum and then wash it using a damp cloth or well-wrung mop. And if it should get damaged, it’s easily repairable, with a colour-matched wood filler or a replacement plank.
Our standard delivery is within 5 working days and costs from £25. We also offer a 48-hour express service as well as international delivery. Samples are sent out by first-class post (you can have 3 for free).
